Sector News is based on the Drupal default Article content type. It provides an easy starting point for news content and includes automated lists along with blocks on the homepage and in the sidebar.
Regular news keeps your website alive and gives you something to push to your social media or email marketing channels. The Sector News content type contains all the components and configuration to make it easy to get started with news on your website.

News landing page

The news landing page is a page node with a view block that lists the latest news items. It includes a search and filters, as well as a pager that becomes visible after more content is loaded.

In Sector 10, the Drupal views are replaced with a Search API search index and view.

From 8.x-2.0-beta1 (October 2018) terms in Article category are 'rabbit-holed' to redirect to the archive view page with the term id as argument.
News landing page

The news landing page is a page node with a view block that lists the latest news items and includes a pager that becomes visible after more content is loaded.

The Sector News view includes displays for the:
- News archive (including a filter for news category)
- Teaser block embedded in the new landing page node
- Homepage block
- Sidebar block
All view displays are hooked into view modes to allow for consistency and easy display management.
